2010 Race Season
Jr. Champ (Age 9-12)
-Weight: 335 lbs. with 550 restrictor plate or 300 lbs. with 500 restrictor plate.
-Engine: Sealed blue clone from Dover Power.
-Tires: HT5 Maxxis. No cut tires. Durometer cannot be under 55 after race.
-Clutch: 18 tooth open clutch.
-Kart: Short wheel base only.
Teen Champ (Age 13-16)
-Weight: 370 lbs.
-Engine: Sealed blue clone from Dover Power.
-Tires: Burris B55A, LF HT5 Maxxis.
-Clutch: 18 tooth open clutch.
Sr. Champ Clone (Age 17 and up)
-Weight: 390 lbs.
-Engine: Non-sealed blue or yellow clone. Dover rules.
-Tires: Burris B55A, LF HT5 Maxxis.
-Clutch: Open clutch.
-Cannot change motors and run flathead classes.
-Engine cannot be claimed until 5th race of the season.
Amateur (Age 14 and up)
Drivers with little or no experience only, unless approved by a race official.
-Weight: 360 lbs.
-Engine: Sealed blue clone.
-Tires: LF Bridgestone YEM, LR Firestone YJF, Right sides Firestones YKF.
-YJF and YKF must be painted white.
-Clutch: 17 tooth open clutch.
Charger (Age 16 and up) unless approved by a race official.
Drivers can run any other class except Amateur and Pro Charger.
-Weight: 375 lbs.
-Engine: Sealed blue clone.
-Tires: LF Bridgestone YEM, LR Firestone YJF, Right sides Firestones YKF.
-YJF and YKF must be painted white.
-Clutch: Open clutch.
Pro Charger (Age 16 and up) unless approved by a race official.
Drivers can run any other class except Charger and Amateur.
-Weight: 385 lbs.
-Engine: Non-sealed blue or yellow clone. Dover rules.
-Tires: Open
-CL1 cam is allowed.
-10.8 Dyno Spring will be legal
-Clutch: Open clutch.
General Rule for All Clone Classes
Blue or yellow open motors in Sr. Champ will not be allowed to run any after market or reground cams.

-Gas: Gas only. 87 octane. No racing fuel. No additives.
-Header: No curl headers. Header must be under 28” including muffler. Stock RL mufflers only. Headers must be wrapped. Any header other than Dover’s must be approved by a race official.
-Carb: Only Ruixing and Huayi are allowed. Only jetting permitted. Non-sealed clone classes can also run Jing Ke brand carbs.
-Protest or Claim can only be done by driver finishing right behind you. No engines can be claimed until 3rd race of the season (5th race of the season for Sr. Champ Clones and Pro Charger).
-Claimer: All clone classes $200. Things not included (chain guard, fuel pump & plate, header & muffler). If you have any after market parts they must remain or put back original parts the way engine came from Dover. Also, engine will be checked before claimer will receive it. If found wrong driver will pay to fix the engine. Engine will be made legal before claimer gets it. If engine is claimed a 2nd time, the track has the option to take it and replace it with a new engine. Also, the track can deny claim if we feel it’s for spite or to gain a fresh engine.
-Protest: $30 – Includes everything under valve cover (springs, retainers, push rods, rockers, cam lift, fly wheel and carb).
-Protest: $50 (non-sealed clone - Sr. Champ Clone and Pro Charger) - Includes everything under valve cover (springs, retainers, push rods, rockers, cam lift, fly wheel and carb.
-Penalties: (Same for all clone classes, sealed and non-sealed) If you’re found wrong your engine will be fixed at your expense. You will lose 25 points even if it’s not a point race and you will be issued your 1st warning. If you’re caught again you cannot run at Coleridge the rest of the year. If it’s after October 1st you cannot run the next year. Suspension goes for kart owner as well. If you come back the next year and get caught again you and the kart owner are out for good.
Dover Power will be giving away 5 clone motors in the box at the end of the season. To be eligible to have a chance to win a motor you will have to compete in all the races. There will be a drawing at the last race to see which 5 gets the engines in the clone classes only.
